Jet Tower scrubbing system	Single-stage Jet Venturi scrubbing system

These systems are an ideal solution for general purpose medium efficiency scrubbing duties. Their simplicity and ability to produce a motivating draught (no fans required) at low cost make them particularly attractive for acid neutralisation / chemical recovery and rough scrubbing applications.

A Jet Tower scrubbing system can achieve removal efficiencies of up to 99.99% by combining a Jet Venturi scrubber and a Packed Tower scrubber. It is used where a gas stream is contaminated with particles and high removal efficiencies are required. The Jet Venturi reduces some of the soluble components and also removes particles which would otherwise clog the small crevices present in a Packed Tower. The Packed Tower removes the remaining soluble components to achieve the desired overall high removal efficiency scrubbing. Further, the use of the Transvac Jet Venturi with it's draught producing capability, often negates the need for an associated mechanical fan.

These are conventional scrubbers comprising a column filled with random packing media and a liqour distribution system. They are used for the removal of soluble contaminants from a gas stream and can achieve removal efficiencies up to 99.99%.
