Application Transvac Eductors (also called Liquid Jet Pumps) are an ideal method of transporting sand slurries from Separators or Cyclones as part of a de-sanding / sand washing system for oil & gas applications. Accumulated sand is normally fluidised; to ensure it will flow, using jets of water by-passed from the motive water supply, prior to entering the suction port of the Eductor. The motive fluid can be produced water or sea water. Operation Pressurised water is accelerated through a jet nozzle creating a region of low pressure into which the fluidised sand slurry is entrained. The two streams then combine within the diffuser throat before being decelerated to regain sufficient pressure to overcome system back-pressures. |

| Transvac Venturi Aerator / Mixers entrain atmospheric air using motive energy from a standard centrifugal pump. Efficient oxygen transfer is achieved by high shear contact within the body of the unit and further contact within it’s turbulent discharge plume. | | Advantages No moving parts Low noise Compact design Easy to control Long operating lfe Reliable operation Simple to install and maintain Low capital cost | | Operation All Transvac sand Eductors are custom designed to suit each application to ensure maximum operating efficiency. Transvac sand slurry Eductors are manufactured from carbon steel, stainless steel, duplex, super duplex or 6Mo with a special grade of ceramic used for the motive water nozzle and a throat to resist abrasion. Standard connections are flanged. The units are designed to the latest European standards and can be CE marked where applicable. All of Transvac’s design and manufacturing processes are quality assured and certified to BS EN ISO 9001. |
