Production boost as shut-in gas wells restart

Instead of wasting energy across a choke, high pressure gas from a new production well was used to power a Transvac Gas Ejector (Eductor) to restart production of some existing LP wells that had been shut-in for two years due to high backpressure.

A senior NAM engineer has commented:-

'The eductor is showing excellent performance to date, generating up to 0.9 MMsm³/d of "extra gas" from the shut-in wells. The eductor will payback for itself in less than a month. NAM operations staff commented ‘the eductor is working very fine!". They were all surprised to see the production kicking in so easily.'
